Study: More Medicare patients surviving heart attacks
According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, people under Medicare are more likely to survive the first 30 days after a heart attack than they would have done more than a decade ago. The people are also likely to find more consistent quality of care among hospitals in terms of its treatment of heart attack survivors.
