Ohio board allows nurses to administer Botox
The Ohio Board of Nursing issued a ruling in favor of allowing nurses operating within the limits of proper medical facility to administer Botox injections. The guideline was laid down after a Columbus, Ohio cosmetic surgeon Dr. Fernando Colon had submitted a request to the board last year stating that it was safe for the nurses to administer the injectables. The board requires the nurses just to complete a training session. Allergan, the maker of Botox injections will definitely gain from the ruling.
